Our products are backed by a 10-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty, ensuring they are free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when installed and maintained according to AlumLA guidelines.
What’s Covered
When properly installed and maintained, AlumLA products are protected against:
- Manufacturing defects in aluminum profiles and finishes
- Peeling, flaking, or cracking of powder-coated finishes
- Excessive chalking beyond industry standards
- Filiform corrosion under standard environmental conditions
- Significant color deterioration under normal exposure
Additional component coverage:
- Powder-coated finishes: up to 10 years
- Anodized finishes: up to 5 years
- Gaskets and accessories: limited coverage depending on material type
What’s Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Improper installation or failure to follow AlumLA guidelines
- Insufficient fastening, spacing, or structural support
- Damage from handling, storage, or post-installation modifications
- Environmental exposure beyond standard conditions (e.g., coastal, chemical, or industrial without proper coating systems)
- Natural aging, UV exposure, or minor color variation
- Use of incompatible materials (adhesives, sealants, etc.)
- Acts of God (fire, flood, extreme weather, etc.)
- Labor or installation costs
Installation & Maintenance Requirements
To maintain warranty coverage:
- Products must be installed per AlumLA installation guidelines
- Materials must be cleaned regularly using mild, non-abrasive methods
- Annual maintenance is required to preserve finish performance
Failure to follow installation or maintenance requirements may void the warranty.
Warranty Claims
To submit a claim:
- Notify AlumLA within 30 days of discovering the issue
- Provide proof of purchase and supporting documentation
- Allow inspection and verification of the material
Remedy
If a valid claim is approved, AlumLA will, at its sole discretion:
- Replace the defective material
- Or refund the original purchase price
This is the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty.
